Anthony P. Lubrano is a 1982 magna cum laude graduate from Penn State University with a B.S. degree in accounting. He began his career in public accounting in NYC with Deloitte Haskins & Sells during which time he obtained his CPA.
Anthony subsequently spent the next six years in commodities arbitrage and foreign trading with the J Aron Division of Goldman Sachs and First Boston Corporation, respectively. While with First Boston, he was relocated to Tokyo, Japan, to help coordinate First Boston Asia Limited’s successful application to become a member of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Upon his return to the U.S. in 1989, he started what is now A.P. Lubrano & Company, Inc. and currently serves as its President.
Anthony, through hard-work and commitment, has grown the practice of A.P. Lubrano & Company, Inc. and related companies to include over 10,000 clients in 48 states. With an emphasis in the areas of group retirement services, wealth management and group health & welfare consulting, the firm serves as a resource to thousands of clients and as of December 31, 2011, handles over $400 million in assets.
A Series 7 licensed Registered Representative and Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative with AXA Advisors, LLC, he also served on the Athletic Committee at Penn State during the Grand Destiny Campaign, a fundraising effort that resulted in over $1.3 billion in gifts. A varsity baseball player at his alma mater, his lead gift to Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics led to the construction of Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, a 5,400 seat baseball stadium that opened on June 20th, 2006. He is the proud father of three daughters. His oldest daughter is a recent graduate from the Smeal College of Business in December, 2011, while his middle daughter is a sophomore at Brown University. His youngest daughter is a junior in high school. All three reside with him at his home in Glenmoore, PA.
